We are currently working alongside a 5* Country Inn that is seeking a strong Sous Chef to join and assist the 2AA Rosette award winning Restaurant in Kirby Lonsdale.
This family run boutique 11-bedroom property combines the character and charm of a 17th century inn and award-winning service to serve customers a treat of Cumbria’s finniest produce to a high standard, utilizing the local area, this 6-man brigade work hard to serve traditional food with modern gastronomic twists.
The right Candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment someone that has already gained 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef and wants to develop their skills to a point where they are ready to take on the next step in their career.
The Sous Chef needs to be an individual who will drive forward the restaurant offering with flair and energy, be strong under pressure and an experienced organizer of stock and the many other aspects of a busy kitchen.
The Property has recently taken on a new head chef who has worked previously to a strong 3AA Rosette standards, they are ideally looking for someone working as a junior sous chef at the same level to assist this property for greater success.
The average working week is 45-48 hours depending on business, 5 days over 7 for a fantastic salary of £26,000 per annum plus a fantastic tips package in place as well.
