Chefs for chefs are currently working with our client in the Norfolk coast, recruiting for Chef de Partie for their 2 Rosette restaurant.

The food is seafood based, so a background in fish and seafood would be an advantage, however not essential. We are looking for someone to assist the senior team with the day to day management of your section in the team of 9 chefs.

The style of food is classical, seasonal and local, with much of the seafood coming from only a few metres away, this is a great chance to join a team the really focuses on the ingredients.

A basic salary of £22k is on offer as well as tips of around £3k per year, making a circa £25k package. Accommodation can potentially be provided for the right candidate.

Candidate Role

  • Assume control of your designated section
  • Assist with the kitchen’s food hygiene protocols
  • Work on all sections, providing support where needed
  • Train and mentor the junior staff members
  • Develop new dishes and menu ideas alongside the senior team
  • Ensure consistent quality at all times

Candidate Specification

  • 1 Rosette ideally
  • Fresh food background essential
  • Must be confident in your ability
  • Have an up to date knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergens
  • Have a calm head and approachable nature
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Be driven to succeed as a chef
