Chefs for Chefs are currently working with our client, a stunning village in with 4 rooms, seeking to appoint a chef de Partie to assist the head chef with the day to day running of the kitchen.

Serving fresh, seasonal products, locality is important to the kitchen here, everything is made in house and the style of food is punchy, bold flavours that are presented in a clean, unfussy way.

We are looking for somebody with a high quality food background, ideally with rosette experience to help the head chef lead the team of 4, developing the food offering alongside the executive chef of the group. A basic salary of £22k can be offered as well as a tips package and live in can be provided for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity to join a small, independent group of inns that prides itself on the quality of the food served and likes to look after its staff.



Candidate Role

  • Assume control of a designated section
  • Work across all sections, providing support where needed
  • Develop new dishes and menu ideas alongside the senior team
  • Train and mentor the junior members of the team
  • Ensure consistent quality at all times
  • Ensure the kitchen’s food safety and hygiene protocols are maintained



Candidate Specification

  • Must currently be at cdp level
  • Fresh food background at a quality standard
  • Rosette experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable on all sections
  • Have a calm head and approachable manner
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Be hard working and driven to succeed
