Description

We are working alongside a fantastic 2 rosette property searching for an eager Chef De Partie to join this brigade. This property boasts 27 bedrooms making it a fantastic destination restaurant & accommodation in the surrounding area.

The restaurant caters for large numbers on an evening and has a very large Wedding / C&B trade due to the beautiful surrounds and acres of land. The property has held 2 AA rosettes for a number of years and has the intent to push further forward to gain awards & accolades. 

This is a great opportunity for a chef to develop their skills and work as part of a passionate team to further develop the business.

The average working week will be around 45-48 hours which spans 5 days over 7.

The salary on offer is around £19,000 per annum, with a good tips package on to top it off onsite accommodation at £40p/w.

 

Candidate Role

  • Work alongside the Head chef & Sous chef to further develop the food offering and reputation.
  • Manage any given section within the kitchen
  • Motivate, train and develop the junior members of the brigade
  • Ensure the consistency of all produce is in line with the chef’s specification and standards
  • Manage, ordering, stock control and wastage of your section
  • Develop new menu items, using the best seasonal ingredients available
  • Take responsibility of health and hygiene of your section and the kitchen
  • Ensure guest satisfaction at all times

 

Candidate Specification

  • Proven demi chef de partie in a Similar establishment
  • Be comfortable & Calm running a section during service
  • Be able to work as part of a close-knit team

  • Hold yourself to a high professional level
