We are currently working alongside a 5* Country Inn that is seeking a Passionate Chef De Partie to assist the head chef & management team in maintaining this 2AA Rosette award winning Restaurant in Kirby Lonsdale.

This family run boutique 11-bedroom property combines the character and charm of a 17th century inn and award-winning service to serve customers a treat of the areas finniest produce to a high standard, utilizing the local area this 6-man brigade work hard to serve traditional food with modern gastronomic twists.

The right Candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment someone that has already gained 2-3 years’ experience in accolated background or an eager Commis Chef that has developed their skills to a point where they are ready to take on the next step in their career.

The average working week is 45-48 hours depending on business, 5 days over 7 for a Great salary of £18,000 per annum plus a Tips Package in place as well.

Candidate Role

·Work as part of a close team to develop the business and uphold the great reputation held

·Support the senior team with the day to day operations of the Inn

·Assume responsibility of sections throughout the kitchen

·Report directly to the head chef & Sous chef

·Assist with the upkeep of kitchen hygiene protocols

·Offer menu development ideas

·Assist in daily food prep and service

·Liaise with senior members to hand over orders and requirements

Candidate Specification

·Fine dining restaurant experience is essential

·A strong Commis Chef would be considered for the role

·Have a keen eye for fine detail

·can work independently and as part of a team

·Be passionate and creative

·Excellent time management skills are essential

·Worked to a minimum of 1AA Rosette accreditation
