We are Currently working alongside a beautiful luxury Hotel that is part of a fantastic hotel group who are seeking a strong Chef De Partie to join the brigade. This unique hotel has 24 bedrooms and two restaurants with a large kitchen brigade of 9 chefs that are all wanting to succeed in pushing this already.

The chef de Partie will be working alongside a large team of chefs so someone with a great personality & drive to make sure all deadlines are met by the senior management & owners to serve extraordinary food to clients in all areas of the multi outlet hotel while pushing the 2aa rosette Restaurant to hopefully gain its 3rd.

The newly appointed Head Chef has implemented a 4-day week shift pattern, with care taken to ensure that the 11-hour rest period between working days is fully implemented.

So, on average the working week currently is 4 days over 7 around 48 hours a week for a fantastic salary of £21,500-£24,000 Per annum + accommodation available.

Overall, we are seeking a Demi or Chef De Partie who has worked to a aa rosette standard in a multi-outlet hotel that can assist the kitchen team and new head chef to push for further awards.

Candidate Role

 

  • Manage and maintain any given section in the kitchen, liaising with the head chef meeting the standards set
  • Assume responsibility for designated sections throughout the kitchen 
  • To produce and deliver high quality food to customers, in accordance to the standards agreed.
  • To maintain all hygiene and safety standards with particular emphasis on health and hygiene.
  • To assist the Head Chef by being creative, flexible and proactive in reviewing menu content and product standards.
  • To ensure that departmental procedures and work instructions are implemented and maintained and that any changes are communicated effectively.
  • To be proactively aware of costing and portion control in the production of dishes.
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as required by the Head Chef or a member of the management team.

Candidate Specification

  • Must have experience working in rosette
  • A strong demi CDP may be considered
  • Be neat and presentable
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills are essential
  • Have confidence to assume charge and organise various section
