Description

We are looking for a Chef de partie to join this well-established 4 Star Hotel in situated on the Cumbria/ North Yorkshire border. The property is multi outlet boasting a fine dining restaurant holding 2 AA Rosette, a casual dining offering as well as boasting luxury spa facilities and a busy C&B venue.

The property also had 31 individually styled bedrooms with a resident occupancy of around 50 guests on average. The hotel also is well known for its afternoon tea service in the lounge with everything freshly prepared on site by the team of chefs. 

The salary on offer is 21,000 and the position can also offer live in, making it very easy to relocate to.

Candidate Role

 

  • Working as part of a busy kitchen servicing multi outlet property
  • Manage and train junior members of the team
  • Create dishes and menus using seasonal ingredients
  • Prepare and serve afternoon teas on a daily basis
  • Prepare and cater for weddings throughout the year
  • Manage a clean working environment
