We are currently working alongside a stunning 16th century, Four Red Star hotel in Northamptonshire which holds 3aa Rosette in their fine dining restaurant.

The establishment is looking to employ a knowledgeable chef de partie who has a strong background working in fresh food sites, preferably accolated properties to assist this award-winning team to greater success.

The four-star hotel boasts 46 luxury bedrooms and suites and is one of the best wedding destination in the country due to the beautiful surroundings, the kitchen team can cater up to 250 covers a function.

The hours are around 45-50 per week based on a variety of shifts depending on the needs of the business. There is also staff accommodation available for the right candidate, the salary on offer is between £21-23K depending on experience with a tips package in place as well.

Candidate Role

·Assist the exec and chef director with the day to day running of the brigade

·Work across all sections, providing support and guidance where needed

·Train, develop and mentor the junior members of the team

·Ensure consistent quality through a hands-on approach to prep and service

·Adopt and maintain the kitchens high standard of food safety and hygiene

·Work alongside the whole team to push for greater success

·Ensure stock control, rotation and management

Candidate Specification

·A strong fresh food cooking background

·Chef de partie experience preferred, although a very strong demi may be considered

·Ideally from a hotel background

·Must have conference and banqueting experience

·Be professional, approachable and friendly

·Must want to succeed as a chef

·Have excellent time keeping, man management and personal skills

·Must be flexible and adaptable
