Chefs for Chefs are delighted to be working alongside our client on the beautiful Dorset coast, seeking to employ an experienced, level headed and organised chef de partie to join their team of 12. This an hourly paid role at up to £10.50ph

This 9 bedroom restaurant with rooms serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 365 days a year and is busy all year around with local guests and tourists alike. The food is uncomplicated, fresh and seasonal with fresh seafood featuring heavily on the menu.

The hours are around 45 per week based on a variety of shifts, there is no live in accommodation, however the owners can assist with relocation for the right candidate. This is a great time to join a fun, hard working and close knit team and work with some of the best produce available. 

We are seeking a chef that can step up when needed, to run a section in the kitchen and contribute to new menus and dish development.

 

Candidate Role

·Assist the senior chefs with the day to day running of the kitchen

·Contribute to new dishes and menu development

·Train and mentor the junior members of the team

·Work with the senior management team to drive the business forward

·Ensure the strict standards of food safety and hygiene are adhered to

·Assist to ensure that financial targets are met

·Keep the quality standards of the head chef in place

Candidate Specification

·Experience at cdp level

·Ideally from a similar background

·Own transport an advantage

·Fresh food background is a must

·Excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills

·Strong desire to lead and inspire

·Attention to detail and quality focused
