We are delighted to be recruiting for a Chef De Partie for our clients thriving, quality food led pub located near Tadcaster. The establishment has acquired a strong reputation for delivering fantastic, consistent food which has a strong influence on traditional English with a flair of European cuisine serving 150-200 covers a week.

Unfortunately, no Live-in is available, so local applicants who drive would be preferred. Tips are included to complement an attractive package for the right candidate, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Demi Chef de partie to take the next step in their career in a stunning location working with a great Head Chef.

The chef de partie will be working 5 days over 7 and around 40-45 hours a week working a mixture of splits and straight shifts with one weekend off a month and closed on a Monday

 

Candidate Role

  • Assist in daily running of the kitchen
  • can run a section in a busy kitchen
  • Assume responsibilities for the smooth running of designated sections throughout the kitchen
  • Work closely with the senior team to develop the food offering
  • Train and instruct junior brigade members
  • Participate in daily food prep and service

Candidate Specification

 

  • Must have experience in similar establishments
  • A strong demi chef would be considered for the role
  • Must be passionate and creative
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Have determination to develop your own skills
  • Excellent time management is required
  • can handle themselves in a busy kitchen environment
