Chefs for chefs are currently working alongside our client, a busy high street brasserie serving vibrant, fresh and seasonal food. This is a high volume site that requires consistent quality, and offers a great buzz in the kitchen, the team works hard together working a variety of shifts as the brasserie serves food all day from breakfast.

The open kitchen adds theatre and the venue itself is very unique which proves very popular with customers, both local and further afield.

Accommodation can be provided which is a 5 minute walk from the site, this is a great chance to join a team that is going from strength to strength and a company that rewards it’s employees.

Candidate Role

  • Oversee a designated section of the kitchen
  • Ensure consistent quality at all times
  • Carry out tasks as directed by the senior chefs
  • Help to train and develop the junior members of the team
  • Assist with the kitchen’s food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Contribute menu ideas and specials suggestions
  • Help out on other sections as required

Candidate Specification

  • Fresh food background is a must
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality
  • Be honest, reliable and trustworthy
  • Have a friendly and approachable character
  • Be driven to succeed as a chef
  • Be flexible and aware of the needs of the kitchen
  • A strong demi chef may be considered
