Chef De Partie-High End Holiday Park

Description

We are recruiting for a chef de partie for our clients beautiful, rural holiday park located near Lydney in Gloucestershire.

The role would see the candidate working as part of a 6 chef brigade in a variety of outlets within the site. The company typically cater for roughly 1000 covers per week which spans over the 80 cover restaurant, 100 cover bar area and the 80 cover alfresco area. There are also the facilities to cater for up to 200 in the C&B suites.

The food offering is mainly focused around casual dining and has a varied menu. The vast majority of the menu is home made with the exception of a few products which are difficult to keep on top of due to volume.

The typical working week will be around 45-50 hours which spans 5 over 7 days. Unfortunately, the role does not have accommodation available so local applicants would be preferred or those willing to relocate.

The basic salary on offer is between £20-23k per annum and there is a tips package on top of this which are paid out twice per annum. Additionally, there is an annualised performance bonus available.

Candidate Role

·To assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.

·To ensure the whole team is working to safe and legal practices.

·To ensure the training standards are kept at all time. 

·To track, replenish and keep in date order the stock holding.

·To be aware of up to date modern trends and be "industry aware". 

Candidate Specification

·The successful individual will be confident, self-motivated and present a professional persona in all circumstances. 

·Have a high level of creativity and reliability. 

·The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service ethos and the ability to deliver consistently high levels of service delivery. 

·A flexible approach to work is required given the start-up nature of the business.

·Held a similar position within a quality graded establishment.
