Chefs for chefs are currently working alongside our client in Leeds centre, looking to recruit a chef de partie to work alongside the team at their fresh food restaurant.

This independent opening showcases the best of Yorkshire produce and small plates and also offers private dining for up to 25 people, bespoke menus are created to tailor to the needs of the guests here.

The team is small and friendly, there is a real team ethic that flows through the kitchen and we are seeking someone to compliment that team and work alongside the head chef driving the quality standards of the kitchen. The pay can be hourly or salary, meaning flexibility if required, but as an average it will be circa £19k plus tips. The kitchen closes Sunday and Monday.

Candidate Role

  • Ensure that your designated section is well maintained and professionally ran
  • Carry out tasks as set by the head chef
  • Contribute to new dishes and menu suggestions
  • Develop the junior members of the team
  • Uphold the food hygiene and safety protocols of the kitchen
  • Ensure consistent quality in all food produced
  • Work across all sections as needed

Candidate Specification

  • Fresh food background is a must
  • Ideally a cdp already, although a strong demi may be considered
  • Be up to date with current industry and allergen regulations
  • Have an approachable and friendly manner
  • Be confident and hard working
  • Have excellent time keeping and personal skills
  • Be hard working and flexible in your approach
