Chef de Partie-Restaurant and Wine Bar


Chefs for Chefs are delighted to be working alongside our client, a thriving restaurant and wine bar in Doncaster, seeking to appoint a cdp/junior sous to join the team.

Food is served daily from 9am-9pm and is a mix of small plates, sharing boards and casual dining favourites. All food is cooked from scratch and changes regularly.

The restaurant itself is contemporary and relaxed and has a great buzz about it in the local area.

They are closed on Tuesdays, and there are a variety of shift patterns. Salary is dependent on experience but is pitched at around £20k for cdp and up to £25k for junior sous chef.

Candidate Role

  • Assist the senior team with the day to day running of the business
  • Assume control of a designated section
  • Ensure stock and prep levels are maintained correctly
  • Train junior members of the team
  • Contribute to new menu ideas and dish development
  • Ensure the kitchen’s food hygiene and safety protocols are met
  • Ensure consistent quality in all food produced

  • Have excellent time keeping and personal skills
  • Be passionate about food and cooking
  • Be up to date with current food hygiene and allergen legislation
