Chefs for Chefs are currently working alongside our client in Snowdonia, looking for 2 commis chefs to join the brigade at their 3-star hotel and lodge set in stunning countryside.

 

With a busy restaurant and bar, as well as 47 bedrooms, this is a fast-paced role, cooking fresh dishes from scratch to residents and guests alike. The dishes are a mixture of welsh classics and some more modern contemporary plates.

 

Live in accommodation is available both on and off site for a small fee, which includes all bills and meals. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn on the job in beautiful surroundings with a great team in place.

Candidate Role

  • Work on all sections as required, supporting the senior chefs
  • Assist with general food prep and cleaning tasks
  • Follow the instructions as set out by the head chef
  • Assist to uphold the kitchen’s food hygiene and safety protocols
  • Work closely with the senior team to benefit your career

Candidate Specification

  • Be willing and committed to the role
  • Have an interest in fresh food cooking
  • Ideally have some hotel experience
  • Be up to date with industry trends and legislation
  • Have a friendly and approachable character
  • Be flexible in your approach to work
