Currently on the lookout for an experienced Grill chef to join an expanding gourmet burger restaurant. The restaurant focusses on high quality ingredients, cooked by a talented brigade matched with attentive service.

We are looking for talented, personable and a hardworking chef to join this successful group and team. The right candidate will have great experience in fast paced restaurants, where quality prevails.

The kitchen is an open diner so you must be presentable, the working hours are averaging at 45 a week working in a team of 3 to run the 70-cover site.

Overall, we are looking for an individual that is bright, enthusiastic, hard working with an approachable personality that thrives in a busy restaurant atmosphere.

Candidate Role

·Handle all environmental health documentation to a high standard 

·Ensure the consistency of all produce is in line with the chef’s specification and standards

·Manage your time efficiently completing all of the tasks given to you by the senior team

·Prepare and cook to a fast-high level pace

·Take control of any given section

·Take responsibility of health and hygiene in the kitchen

·Ensure guest satisfaction at all times

Candidate Specification

·You must have experience in being a Grill Chef and cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes including been very organised. 

·Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background.

·You must take responsibility for all health and Safety, critical controls and help financial aspects of the kitchen to support the budget

·You must be able to motivate and lead the Grill section.

·You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship

·Be clean and professional due to an open kitchen plan
