Description

We are recruiting for a passionate and committed Junior Sous Chef for our clients thriving food led pub in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

The site is a high volume, fresh food pub with a great reputation for delivering consistent quality and great service standards. The site is adjacent to a well known country house hotel.

The main food offering is traditional British cuisine using all fresh ingredients and typically catering for around 150 covers per day. They site operate a Sunday carvery which sees roughly 250 covers being catered for.

There are 7 full time chefs in the kitchen team currently.

The average working week is around 45-50 hours which spans 5 over 7 days. Although no accommodation is available, it is very easy to commute to the site from the surrounding areas.

Candidate Role

·Fresh food background is a must

·Must be confident with very busy services

·Similar experience is essential 

·Must be driven to succeed as a chef

·Ideally from a gastro pub background

·Must have excellent personal time and man management skills

·Be professional and approachable at all times
