So over the past few months we have been working hard on offering more flexible hospitality recruitment packages for our customers. Over the past two years, the feedback we have received has been insightful but very varied, some customers would like to pay a one off fee, others would like a longer term time and so on, which made us think, what about creating three packages for our customers to choose from.
Our new hospitality recruitment agency packages
Introducing our new tiered system. Comprising of three packages with a fee structure starting at 7.5% for a 6 week term, 10% over a 10 week term and 12.5% over a 14 week term.
Each package also offers weekly instalments, this keeps your cashflow alive, especially in times of low trade.
Our Bronze package: 7.5% placement fee paid over 6 weeks.
Our Bronze package is by far the most affordable way to recruit and also benefits from our weekly instalment plan too powered by GoCardless. The 7.5% fee is based from the candidates annual salary and is paid to us using 6 weekly instalments.
For example: A Candidate that we have introduced to you accepts a position at £30,000 salary. The 7.5% fee would equal to £2250.00 plus vat, this would then be paid using 6 weekly instalments of £375.00 plus vat.
Our Silver package: 10% placement fee paid over 10 weeks.
Our most popular package offers the perfect mix of the Bronze and Gold Package. For an additional 2.5%, you can make your payments over a 10 week period. Again, the fee is calculated the same way and paid using weekly instalments.
For Example: A Candidate that we have introduced to you accepts a position at £30,000 salary. The 10% fee would equal to £3000.00 plus vat, this would then be paid using 10 weekly instalments of £300.00 plus vat.
Our Gold package: 12.5% placement fee paid over 14 weeks.
Our most secure package offers the piece of mind of a longer term time for any candidate we have introduced to your business. It does come at the highest fee, but with the additional term time, it's also the cheapest weekly payment plan.
For Example: A Candidate that we have introduced to you accepts a position at £30,000 salary. The 12.5% fee would equal to £3750.00 plus vat, this would then be paid using 14 weekly instalments of £267.00 plus vat.
What Happens if a candidate leaves when you employ using a Hospitality Recruitment Agency?
Most hospitality recruitment agencies charge the full fee upfront and then have you tied into what is known as a sliding scale of credit. This means that if a candidate where to leave during the term (which is typically 12 weeks for a general hospitality recruitment agency) you would receive a credit note for the remainder of the term.
For example, you have paid a £3,000 placement fee to the hospitality recruitment agency and the chef leaves your employment on week 6, you would be entitled to a 50% credit on your account ie £1500.00, however as this is issued as credit and not cash, you are then tied to that agency moving forward, and the process will start again. Alternatively, the hospitality recruitment agency may offer a 'Free Replacement' This is a red flag in our industry as good staff are hard to find in the first instance, so it may be the case you end up waiting a long time for your free replacement.
How our packages are different
Unlike another hospitality agency, you do not pay us upfront for any fees. You will receive an invoice for the full fee, which is then paid over the term time given in your selected package. You then pay via weekly instalments, meaning you have cash in the bank and are not paying the full fee upfront. As an example, If a candidate where to leave on week
6 of a 10 week term, any remaining instalments will cease to be owed and better still, no money has exchanged hands for those payments. This means you are not tied up in credit notes. If we find a new candidate for you, we just simply start a new plan for that candidate.
Think of this as financing your recruitment fees at 0% interest, if the chef leaves, you stop paying us.
